BELL 407

Click for larger imagesThe advanced-technology seven-seat Model 407 for corporate and utility operations became the world's fastest-selling light helicopter in 1995 and has achieved more than 200 orders to date.

The Model 407 has a four-bladed bearingless, all composite-material, low-maintenance main rotor system developed originally for the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. However, the OH-58D's stability-and command-augmentation system was eliminated for simplicity by redesigning the rotor controls.

Whatever the mission, the new Bell 407 is as versatile as they come. From traversing rough terrain for Search and Rescue, to making offshore operations more efficient, to transporting executives through congested urban areas.
